• Family Information: Father's name and occupation, mother's name and occupation, siblings' names, family structure, family values, and native place.
• Location Information: State, district, city, town/village, and work location.
• Partner Preferences: Desired age range, height, education, occupation, religion, community, location, and dietary preferences.
• Photos: Profile photographs and additional images uploaded by you.
• Documents: Any identity, educational, employment, medical, or spiritual documents you choose to upload (optional).
• Communication Data: Messages sent between users, interests sent and received, and questionnaire responses.
• Payment Information: UPI transaction IDs and payment proof screenshots for subscription processing. We do not store credit/debit card numbers or banking credentials.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data solely to:

• Create and manage your user account and profile.
• Provide matchmaking services, including compatibility analysis and profile recommendations.
• Facilitate communication between matched users (messaging and interest system).
• Process subscription payments and manage membership tiers.
• Verify user identity through phone OTP and maintain platform trust.
• Ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• Send transactional notifications (account verification, payment confirmations, subscription expiry reminders).

We do not use your personal data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

By registering an account on One Matrimony, you provide your consent for the collection and processing of your personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard or by contacting us directly.

• Active Accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active and you continue to use our services.
• Account Deactivation: You may deactivate your account at any time from your dashboard. Deactivated accounts are hidden from other users and search results.
• Payment Records: Transaction records may be retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your profile information (as displayed on your profile page) is visible to other registered users of One Matrimony for the purpose of matchmaking. Phone numbers are visible only to paid subscribers (Silver, Gold, and Platinum).
• Service Providers: We may share data with trusted service providers (e.g., hosting providers, SMS gateways) who assist in operating the platform, subject to strict data protection obligations.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data:

• Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing — we never store passwords in plaintext.
• Secure session management with automatic timeout after 24 hours of inactivity.
• Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Admin access is restricted through role-based access controls and audit logging.
• All profile photos are reviewed and approved by administrators before becoming visible to other users.

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

One Matrimony uses session cookies strictly for the purpose of maintaining your login session and preferences (such as language selection). We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, analytics trackers, or any cross-site tracking technologies.
